Grilled Pork Loin Chops with Carolina Spices

Ready for some juicy and delicious pork chops? This takes less than 10 minutes to prep and 10 minutes to cook.

I have had this recipe for a long time and have been using it on for chicken, pork, and fish. If you use the rub on fish I would recommend adding 1-2 teaspoons of cumin powder to the rub mixture.

To make today’s dish you start with the Carolina spice rub. It’s quick to make and easy to use. You can easily double or triple the recipe and have it on hand.

I am using boneless pork loin chop today since I had that on hand. I like to use this cut of meat as it cooks very fast. You can use bone-in chops; just remember cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of the pork.

This rub is also great for bone-in or boneless chicken thighs.

I am using Kinder’s brand barbecue sauce as that is our family favorite. You are welcome to use another.

Please let me know how this recipe turns out for you!

In a small bowl add all the spice rub ingredients. Mix everything very well.

Place pork chops in a mixing bowl. You can pat dry the pork chops with paper towel if you see too much liquids (moisture) on the chops.

Then add the spice rub over the pork chops. Use a clean hand and rub the pork chops with spices well. Make sure to coat each pieces with the rub. Leave the chops to marinate at least 30 minutes before you grill.

Heat an indoor grill or pan over medium-high heat. Add a little amount of oil over the grill grates.

Place the pork on the grill. Cook the chops for 3-4 minutes on the first side. Then turn the chops and cook on the other side for another 3-4 minutes. You can use internal thermometer to check if the chops are done (145 degrees). Turn the heat off.
