I remember buying guacamole from the store. It tasted horrible! That was by far the most flavorless and bitter guacamole I’ve ever had. The worst part was that this was organic and came from a brand name. I had to throw it out. Now I didn’t have any guacamole! Fortunately, I had a few ingredients on hand that I could use to make my own. It was delicious! I’ve been using this recipe for a quick appetizer whenever we open up a bag of tortilla chips.
- 1 small ripe avocado
- 1 tbs white onion, diced
- 2 tbs seeded tomato, diced
- 1/8 tsp garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp salt
In a small bowl mash avocado. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Cover and refrigerate an hour before serving.
